Description
Engine Oil Pan
Reliable Oil Storage and Crankcase Sealing for Engine Lubrication
Function & Application
The Engine Oil Pan forms the sealed lower housing of the engine. It stores lubricating oil, closes the crankcase, and collects oil returning from the lubrication circuit. It also protects internal moving components and provides a collection area where impurities in the oil can settle, supporting normal operation of the engine lubrication system.
Oil Collection and Protection at the Engine Base
Combines lubricating oil storage with crankcase sealing and structural protection for the lower engine assembly.
Key Advantages
01 | High Strength and Impact Resistance
Provides a strong, impact-resistant housing to help protect internal moving components at the bottom of the engine.
02 | Reliable Sealing
Supports a sealed crankcase and reliable oil containment, helping prevent lubricating oil leakage.
03 | Resistance to Oil-Related Corrosion
Resists corrosion associated with oil and oily contaminants, helping maintain the integrity of the oil storage housing.
